Details
The 911 GT3 RS 4.0, launched in 2011, was the final evolution of the 997 GT3 and featured a 4.0 litre flat-six engine (the largest engine offered in a street-legal 911). The engine itself uses the crankshaft from the RSR with increased stroke dimensions. This change increased the power output to 500 PS (493 hp) at 8,250 rpm and 460 N⋅m (339 lbf⋅ft) of torque at 5,750 rpm. Chassis development was influenced by the GT2 RS and uses parts from other RS 911s. Front dive planes give additional downforce up front. The car weighs 1,360 kg giving it a power-to-weight ratio of 365 hp per ton. Only 600 cars were built. At 493 hp, the engine is one of the most powerful six-cylinder naturally aspirated engines in any production car with a 123.25 hp per litre output. Performance figures include 0-97 km/h (60 mph) acceleration time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 311 km/h (193 mph). It’s got the rose-jointed rear lower arms from the GT2 RS, plus that car’s carbon fiber bonnet and front wings, stiffer springs and bespoke PASM damper tuning. The lap time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife is 7 minutes and 27 seconds.

The car has covered just 4,976 miles and is quite simply in immaculate condition. It arguably has the most desirable specification for a 4.0L as all of the lightweight/track options were chosen when it was specified new (PCM delete, PCCB, lightweight battery and headlights) It is our belief that the highest price ever achieved by one of these cars was in this same specification. Viewing of the car is highly recommended as it's condition really does speak for itself. The car wears all of it's original paint as confirmed by paint depth readings and there are also no adverse over-revs recorded.
It will be serviced by Porsche at point of sale. Please contact us for more information or to enquire about our finance or transportation options.
