This particular Interceptor 3 features the 7.2L powerhouse paired with a 3-Speed Torqueflite automatic gearbox and tan leather interior. The extensive history file and the previous owners meticulous research of the car in question proves it has had a rather interesting life. Originally this car was one of the Jensen factory demonstrators, originally wearing the registration number TEA700L and it's original colour was copper brown. In Feb 1974 this particular car was road tested, photographed and featured in Motorsport magazine. A copy of the article is present in the file along with full factory build information.

After use as a factory demonstrator, the car was sold by Jensen to a Mr A W. Crawford of Walsall, Staffordshire in April 1974 at the price of £5500. Interestingly the sales information states that Mr Donald Healey had expressed an interest in offering this car for sale to one of his friends and that he borrowed it for a few days to show to him.  His friend subsequently purchased the car.

More recently the car has undergone numerous upgrades and preventative maintenance including a new aluminium radiator, uprated fans and alternator, electric fuel pump, high flow water pump, high flow thermostat, new ignition wiring loom, new stereo with MP3 connection, new battery, upgraded modern air-conditioning system with many invoices in the very extensive history file.
