The Mercedes-Benz W126 is the company's internal designation for its second generation S-Class, manufactured in sedan/saloon (1979–1991) and coupé (1981–1990) models, succeeding the company's W116 range. Mercedes introduced the 2-door C126 coupé model, marketed as the SEC, in September 1981. This generation was the first S-Class to have separate chassis codes for standard and long wheelbases (W126 and V126) and for coupé (C126).

This lovely 126 500SEC is finished in Nautic Blue metallic with a grey leather interior and fitted with the following:

 

• Wooden interior trim

• Electric sunroof

• 15 Inch Alloy wheels

• Heated electric front seats

• Headlight wipers

 

The car has the original service book which is dated from 1992 from the supplying dealer Mercedes-Benz of Chesterfield. Since then the car has been serviced by a Mercedes main dealer up until 2006 and beyond this has been maintained by specialists. It has had much recent work as detailed below at a cost of £5k and everything works as it should including the air conditioning.
