The 911 SC (Super Carrera) is a landmark 911 because it was the first Porsche model developed to appeal to a wider market than just the enthusiast driver. It is the 911 that launched the 911's reputation for excellent durability and build quality thanks to the use of a fully zinc coated steel bodyshell and the adoption of a normally aspirated version of the Turbo's more robust 3-litre engine.

This extensively restored, late 204bhp 911 SC is finished in Iris Blue metallic with Black leather seats.

It is fitted with the desirable factory options of a passenger wing mirror, sunroof, rear wiper and the UK Sport pack, which consisted of the larger turbo style rear spoiler, a deeper front chin lip and black Fuchs alloys.

This particular vehicle has been serviced by leading Porsche Specialists throughout its life and has a wealth of service history which is documented for viewing in its own file.

The body is in fantastic condition with plenty of receipts in the history file for new seals, trims, rubbers, clips etc, pointing to a high quality respray in recent years.

The car is currently fitted with a Wevo short shift gear leaver at a cost of £1200 (original including centre tunnel available and included in sale) and a Dansk sports exhaust.

The car also benefits from recent major maintenance including the following:

Engine and Gearbox mountings replaced along with all injectors replaced – Feb 2019 – Barr-Tech - £1600

Comprehensive engine rebuild in 2018 by Barr-Tech - £14500

Gearbox serviced in 2018 by A1 Gearboxes - £2000

Geometry check, adjustment and new parts at Centre Gravity Ltd in 2017 - £1400
