Details
The Mercedes-Benz 124 series is a range of mid-size cars made by Daimler-Benz from 1984 to 1997. The internal chassis designation for estate models is S124. The estate cars (and optionally, saloons and coupés) had Citroën-like rear self-levelling suspension with suspension struts rather than shock absorbers, gas-filled suspension spheres to provide damping and an under bonnet pressurizing pump. Unlike the traditional Citroën application, the Mercedes suspension system had a fixed ride height and employed rear coil springs to maintain the static ride height when parked. In 1993, the second facelift was introduced to the 124. It changed the front portion, which made the 124 bear closer resemblance to the 140 series.
This lovely 124 estate is finished in Pearl Blue with a grey cloth interior and has the following specification:
-
Automatic gearbox
-
Zebrano wood trims
-
Front and rear electric windows
-
Electric wing mirrors
-
Electric sunroof
-
7 Seats
-
Electric tailgate lock
-
Central locking
-
Original Becker Europa radio/cassette
It has covered just 38k miles and is in stunning condition. It has all of it's original manuals/booklets and has been periodically serviced throughout it's life.
