In November 2022, Porsche launched the Porsche 911 Dakar at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The model makes use of the same 3.0-litre flat-6 engine found in the 911 GTS, making 473 hp and 420 lb⋅ft of torque from 2,300 to 5,000 rpm. It has a top-speed of 149 mph (240 km/h) and can accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds. It is exclusively all-wheel drive and is only available with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Porsche has also limited production to 2,500 units.
