Details

The Porsche 996 Turbo was introduced in 2000 and was powered by a water-cooled twin turbocharged/intercooled 3.6L H-6 derived from the 1998 LeMans winning GT-1 car producing 415 hp at 6000 rpm and 415 lbft of torque.

The 996 turbo featured all-wheel drive and was available with either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed Tiptronic transmission and had revised styling and a wider stance than the naturally aspirated 996 Carreras along with new bi-xenon headlamps. In 2005 Porsche introduced a limited run of approximately 1500 examples of the Turbo S  available as either a coupé or cabriolet. The Turbo S was essentially a 996 Turbo with the X50 option but also included PCCB, 6-disc CD changer and aluminium-faced instruments.

This superb Turbo S is finished in Slate Grey metallic with a black leather interior and the following specification:

  • 6 Speed manual gearbox

  • PCCB  Ceramic brakes

  • Electric slide/tilt sunroof

  • Heated seats

  • Large leather package

  • Rear park assist

  • Cruise control

  • Bi-Xenon headlights with headlight wash

  • Porsche crest embossed on head restraints

  • Rear section of centre console in leather

  • Seat controls in leather

  • Steering column in leather

  • Sun visors in leather

  • Bose Sound system in leather

  • Three-spoke sports steering wheel in leather

  • Porsche PCM with Telephone module

It has covered just 34k miles and it's service history is as follows;

05/03/2009 – 10,291 miles – Porsche Centre Cambridge

08/03/2011 – 16,511 miles – Porsche Centre Cambridge

06/03/2013 – 21,133 miles – Porsche Centre Cambridge

10/03/2015 – 24,461 miles – Porsche Centre Cambridge

06/04/2018 – 29,897 miles – Porsche Centre Cambridge

10/07/2020 – 33,467 miles – Porsche Centre Cambridge

It also benefits from a £13k tuning package (9e35) from well respected Porsche specialists Nine Excellence (9e) comprising of the following:

  • 1 bar actuators

  • Forge diverter valves

  • 5 bar fuel pressure regulator

  • Kline 100 cell exhaust system

  • D088 Intercoolers
