The third-generation Porsche Cayenne was revealed on 29 August 2017, with sales beginning in 2019. In April 2023, the Cayenne received a mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 model year. Notable changes include a new dashboard layout similar to that of the Taycan, a fully digital 12.6-inch gauge cluster, and minor exterior restyling of the bonnet, headlights, bumpers, fenders, and boot. Matrix LED headlamps became standard across the range, The Cayenne S regained a V8 engine, which it had lost since the introduction of the third-generation model. The 4.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 469 hp and 443 lbf⋅ft of torque, an increase of 34 hp and 37 lbf⋅ft over the preceding Cayenne S powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6
